Honor Note 8 with 6.6-Inch AMOLED Display and 4500mAh Battery has been Launched

Honor is an affiliate brand to the Chinese Mobile Mastermind, Huawei. The company has launched two new high-end smartphones – Honor V8 and Honor 8 earlier this year. with the both the devices coming with dual rear cameras as seen on Huawei P9 and P9 Plus, and today introduced a new big-screen phablet device,  the Honor Note 8. The smartphone is packed with an impressive array of premium features.

Certainly, to some persons, the 6.6-Inch 2K resolution Honor Note 8 is an eyebrow-raising material. The company felt it would be an awesome ideal for gaming, multimedia and productivity, would make more sense with immense screen real estate and pixel density. Moreover, the smartphone uses a Super AMOLED panel with a contrast ratio of 70,000:1. It is also advertised that the screen-to-body ratio is at 80%, which is generally great, the device has a refined presence with about 0.28in (7.18mm) thickness and weighs 219 grams.

They also felft it was wise to take advantage of the extra footprint to add a sizable 4500mAh battery with fast charging technology, with a power-saving implemented algorithms in order to squeeze out 13.4 hours of continuous 1080p video playback and an average of 6.5 hours while enjoying a gaming experience with the device.

It is powered Kirin 955 octa-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz and comes with 4GB of RAM. the device will be available in three variants, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB of storage. With a MicroSD expansion slot for expanding the storage additionally up to 128GB. Alos, the new Note 8 comes with a 13MP single camera with PDAF and dual tone LED flash. In the case of the selfies, there is an 8MP front camera with wide-angle lens.

The smartphone also supports dual SIM dual standby that offers 4G LTE. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with the latest EMUI 4.1 laid on top. It has a connectivity options include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a MicroUSB Type-C port. Priced at a value of $345  for the 32GB, $376 for the 64GB and $421 for the 128GB variants. Its currently available only in China and its expected to be made available soon in the International Market
