Oppo R9s Leaked Ahead of its Unveiling Next Week

The event on the 19th of October 2016 is all about the unveiling of the Oppo R9 and the company has confirmed it. Over the week, the Chinese company has been testing its next level smartphone and currently in China, TV advert about the phone has already been going on.

Thus, it seems that the company thinks it has a winner on its hands. The device would come in two versions, the R9s and R9s Plus and they should get unveiled alongside on Wednesday. We've already heard about the new models' camera, and the R9s has been spotted in a benchmark yesterday, confirming all the specs.

The image of the Oppo R9 shown above portrayed the leaked image, the device has an all-metal body, with a new antenna line design, though, looking similar to the R9, but some small details have been changed.

From the leak that showed up on the benchmark, the R9s should sport a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 16 MP rear camera and a 16 MP front-facing unit, the Snapdragon 625 chipset, 4GB of RAM size, 64GB of internal storage, and a 3,010 mAh battery and it's likely to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.
