Garmin Forerunner 935 Multi Sport GPS Watch - Best GPS Running/Triathlon Watch with Heart Rate

Garmin has unveiled a new Multi Sport Watch, built for runners and triathletes. The Garmin Forerunner 935 - the natural successor to the 920XT triathlon watch. The Forerunner 935 is the latest GPS sport watch with wrist based Heart Rate monitor and packed with lots of new features.

This latest edition of the Forerunner family, Garmin 935 is an ultimate tool for dedicated runners everywhere. With the Forerunner 935 you'll have all of the data you need, it's Multi-Sport dynamics (running, swimming, and cycling). The 935 is not buck, weighing just 49g and features a 1.2-inch 240 x 240 transflective display.

Also, the Forerunner 935 is waterproof up to 50 metres and is compatible with Garmin's QuickFit bands letting you swap the silicone one out for something more luxurious including leather and metal. It's packed with sensors including an altimeter, accelerometer (for indoor tracking), thermometer and compass.

It'll also have GPS/GLONASS support for tracking and has all the usual Garmin fitness tracking skills you'll find on the Vivosmart HR+ and Vivofit 3 trackers, VO2 Max, recovery time, race predictor, and more.

The Garmin 935 also offers you more ways than ever to store and track your data. Use automatic uploads to Garmin Connect, or use Strava live segments to turn every run into a virtual race. These new features makes the Forerunner 935 the most powerful Forerunner ever.

And as for the battery life, the Forerunner 935 will serve up 24 hours in GPS mode and up to 60 hours in UltraTrac battery saver mode. While, in watch mode, it can for good two weeks before you need to power it up again. Garmin is pushing the emphasis on multisport tracking so you can also record hikes, trail runs, skiing, paddle sports, golf and more.

Additionally, the Garmin Forerunner 935 comes along with a new Running Dynamics Pod that clips onto the waistband and is able to deliver six running dynamics including cadence, ground contact time, stride length and more. The Pod will cost you $69.99.
