Huawei P8 vs P8 Max, the Similarities and the Difference

A nice innovation of Smartphones with powerful specs. Lunched on July 2015. The P8 and P8 Max is almost a perfect smartphone with an amazing good camera quality and fast performance quality to provide fun an entertaining experience with the device but the device seems expensive.

However the good specifications of these two device does not really mean that they are completely the same, the devices has few deference and the P8 Max is made for those that has extra money to spend.

They are both powered with same Ram size of 3GB

Network and Connection

They both support 4G LTE Network and can connect via Bluetooth,Wi-fi, Hotspot (wirelessly) and USB Cable.


They are powered with a back camera quality of 13MP featuring LED flashlight, Geo-tagging, Auto focus and Face detection and little difference in the front selfie camera.


The both phones supports same series of sensors like Ambient light, Accelerometer, Proximity, Compass and Hall sensors. also support a GPS Compass Location.

Huawei P8 and P8 Max Difference

They may be in the same flagship, but there is series of difference between the both smartphones which includes:


This is one of the major dieffrence between them, they differ clearly in battery capacity. The P8 Max has a battery capacity of 4360mAh (long lasting battery) battery capacity which can last 16 hours on video play and 10 hours on browsing via wifi and more than 100 hours on standby.  While the P8 has a battery capacity of 2680mAh which shows a clear difference in battery capacity.


The P8 Max has an internal (inbuilt) memory of 64GB while the P8 has a storage size of 16GB built in memory. And the both of them having similarity in Ram size.


The both powered with same 13MP back camera with a little difference in the front selfie camera quality. The P8 Max having a front camera of 5MP while the P8 has a front camera of 8MP. This shows that the P8 has a better front camera quality.


The P8 Max is powered with a display of 6,8-Inch and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 while the P8 is powered with a display of 5.2-Inch and a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
