Infinix Note 5 and Not 5 Pro are the latest arrivals to the Infinix Note flagship device. Just as the names sound, its previous models was the Note 4 2017 with a super cool design. This Note 5 2018 has come with a lot of some new features and has hugely been upgraded. You know what? it is also more expensive than the previous Note 4.

The Note 5 and Note 5 Pro marks the debut as the latest Android One smartphone from Infinix with an expectation to make amends for the 2017 Infinix Note 4 and Note 4 Pro that got a good number of critics and mixed feelings from its users.

And this time the device is still coming back in two variants, the Note 5 and Note 5 Pro. The device comes with a bigger and sharper screen compared to last years version. Also, the Pro version comes with a stylus pen included.

Infinix Note 5 has quite a lot of similarities with its previous Note 4 which was launched last year. But as an upgraded version of the 2017 version, the Note 5 has some higher specs and features in some areas and retained some in others.

The device features a beautiful body Design with 6.0 inches for the Note 5 and 5.98 inches for the Pro version across the front of the device and it’s an IPS LCD Touch display. An IPS display which has 1080 by 2160 resolution, making the pixel density of the device a respectable 402 pixels per inch. This device measures a dimension of 158mm x 75mm x 8.4mm, a full-screen display with a 75% screen to body ratio.

Again one of the major upgrades is the change in the operating system, unlike its previous version, the Infinix Note 5 and Note 5 pros, both runs on Android One and powered with an Octa-core With 2.0GHZ with Helio P23 chipset and Mali G71 MP2 under the hood to give the device the cool fast experience you will crave for. No Nagging, no slow experience.

This is a significant upgrade from the older variant that came with Mediatek chipset and Octa-core 1.3 GHz processor. When it comes to performance, these Note 5 series is nothing short of impressive and offer awesome experience even while multitasking. It is finished with a glossy glass back cover and it is available in three stylish color options; Milan Black, Berlin Gray and Ice Blue colors.

For the Camera, while Infinix’s note devices have always been known for having good cameras, the Note 5 isn’t something to write off either, we are not disappointed. They both feature a front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel lens having its own dedicated LED flash while at the back of the Note 5 is a primary camera of 12 MP lens. The Note 5 Pro comes with a dual back 12 MP + 13 MP lens and both devices are assisted by a dual LED flash, has autofocus and is able to shoot 1080p videos at a frame rate of 30 frames per second.

You may conclude that this is a selfie device but until you find out that the back camera Bokeh (Portrait mode) features of the device are by the help of an AI since it doesn’t come with dual back snappers. The camera is very clear at any moment event at low light temperature.

Face ID unlock is not available on this first version, but later versions ( the Pro) will probably ship with the Face ID unlock system. Also, the Fingerprint has been moved from the front ( on the previous version) to the back of this version.

Here where we have noticed another changed compared to the previous version, on like last years version that came with a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage space, this version 5 is coming with a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage space. This upgrade will really enhance the performance of the device.

And the good news is this, the device has a MicroSD card expansion slot. This allows you to upgrade the storage space up to 128GB. Save more and have fun. Both devices have 3G and 4G network support with dual micro SIM capability.

Battery capacity has always been the selling point of the Note 5 series and this one is not an exemption. The Note 5 has a 4,500 mAh battery and the Note 5 Pro has a 4350 mAh battery and both are Non-removable and supports quick charge technology that is guaranteed to give you a long lasting battery as advertised to keep the device up and running for up 3 days.
