The wait for 5G Smartphone is over. Early before now we listed some devices we expected to be launched with 5G connectivity and with omitted ZTE. Now, just like the big guys, ZTE isn't missing on the 5G action. The company announced two new phones at the Mobile Week Conference (MWC) 2019 and one of the flagship device called Axon 10 Pro 5G coming with 5G connectivity support.

These first 5G smartphone coming from the Chinese tech giant is packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform, a Snapdragon X50 5G modem, and an artificial intelligence (AI) engine that automatically adjusts CPU, GPU, RAM, and ROM using AI algorithms.

ZTE has partnered with China Telecom, Hutchinson Drei, and Elisa carriers to ensure a global release within the first half of this year.

In addition to the powerful SoC, the Axon 10 Pro 5G also boasts a 6.47-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. There's also a fingerprint reader at the back of the device. The chipset includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Also, the AI capabilities are used across the triple camera for motion capture, scene recognition, portrait lighting adjustment, and for learning user behavior. The camera adopts the popular 48MP sensor with f/1.8 and pixel-binning technology. The second camera is an ultra wide-angle one with 20MP sensor and 125° field of view. The third one is telephoto with 8MP sensor whereas the front uses a 20MP unit.

The Axon 10 Pro also implements a fully self-developed, full-band antenna design to achieve full coverage of 2G/3G/4G/5G and effectively. The device is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery and runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. From the look of the impressive specs sheet, we don't expect the device to be cheap.

ZTE Blade V10

ZTE also announced its new Blade V10 and V10 Vita smartphones, which will launch across China, Europe, and Latin America. On the other hand, some essential specifications are missing in the Blade V10, it carries a 6.3-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2280) display with a small notch on the top housing a 32MP sensor.

The Blade V10 runs on an octa-core 2.1GHz platform and the chip is yet to be revealed says ZTE and it is aided by 3GB/4GB of RAM with 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The back houses the fingerprint reader along with a dual-camera setup that consists of a 16MP sensor and a 5MP one for depth sensing.

The battery here is lower than the Axon 10 Pro, powered with A 3,100 mAh battery powers it all that charges over USB-C. The price is currently unknown and the device is available in black, blue and green colors.
