Redmi Launches Note 7 Pro with 48 MP Camera and 128 GB Internal Storage

For those lovers of a premium device and do not have much money to spend, here is another affordable device from Redmi, the device is launched in India.

Redmi launched the Redmi Note 7 along with the Pro variant. The Pro variant comes with everything we expected that makes a good smartphone - Snapdragon 675, 48 MP camera and up to 128 GB storage. The vanilla version, however, received downgrade camera with a 12 MP main shooter.

As for the design, the new phone is exactly the same as the old one (2018 version), including the 4,000 mAh battery and the 6.3” display. Also, the device supports Quick Charge 4 but comes with a regular 10W charger in the retail box and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and back.

As for the chipset, The Redmi Note 7 Pro is coupled with octa-core CPU that goes as high as 2 GHz and comes with Adreno 612 GPU. The 48 MP sensor is Sony IMX586, which is an upgrade from the Samsung GM1 sensor, found in the Redmi Note 7 and numerous other midrange smartphones. There are two memory options - 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage or 6 GB + 128 GB storage, with a microSD slot on board.


The Indian version of the Redmi Note 7 still has a Snapdragon 660 chipset, 6.3” screen, and 4,000 mAh battery, but the camera setup is 12 MP + 2 MP. It also lacks the neat gradient colors and is only available in Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue, and Ruby Red. The device will available for order 6th of March at INR9,999 (the 3/32 GB option) or INR11,999 (the 4/64 GB variant).

While the Redmi Note 7 Pro will arrive a week later - on March 13 after the Note 7 has been launched. The Note 7 Pro is coming in Nebula Red, Neptune Blue, and Space Black colours and will go for INR13,999 or INR16,999, depending if you want the 4/64 GB phone or the roomier 6/128 GB version.
